Description: In 2002 the Los Angeles County Central Courthouse was renamed Stanley Mosk Courthouse in memory of Supreme Court Justice Stanley Mosk.
ANSWER: Shown in the photo is a corner of the rapidly rising steel framework for the new County Courthouse at 1st and Hill Sts. And for which a portion of Bunker Hill was torn away. This was too easy. Because surely you spotted the Law Building and the Hall of Records in the background.
Caption: KNOW YOUR CITY, NO.127 -- Kind of difficult to recognize a stack of steel. But the buildings in the background are a dead giveaway. Now what used to be here? A hill. It's no warehouse, but it'll have a lot of cases piled up. See Page 35, Part 1.
