- Summary
- Written and illustrated during the first decade of the 14th century at the Glajor monastery, most likely in the Elegec valley of Armenia, the Glajor Gospel portrays major events of the New Testament. It is part of the last flowering of artistic culture in independent pre-modern Armenia. Selected illustrations depict medical conditions including epilepsy, skin disease, paralysis, and blindness. Manuscript is owned by the University of California, Los Angeles.
