About this Collection
The Archivo Histórico de Tijuana holds VHS and CD recordings, audiocassette tapes, vinyl records, photographs, and other documents dating back to the late 19th century. These rare materials record Tijuana’s history, documenting images of people, buildings, political activism and public events, as well as documents from the City’s administrative office (Oficialía Mayor).

Description
This digital collection focuses on photographs from multiple collections held at the Archivo Histórico de Tijuana, including materials from the Colección Guadalupe Kirarte Domínguez. Images in the collection document people, buildings, political activism and public events as well as the City’s administrative office.
Contents note
The San Diego State University (SDSU) Sage Project and University Library collaborated with Tijuana’s Instituto Municipal de Arte y Cultura (IMAC) to digitize these materials.
