Description

Registros diários do café colhido pelos trabalhadores da fazenda Ibicaba. Os dados de colheita em 1891 seguem a estrutura de um diário; os de 1892-1895 estão estruturados no formato de contas correntes, possivelmente sob os nomes dos chefes de família. O livro traz ainda informações resumidas sobre as colheitas anuais dos camaradas.
Registries of coffee harvested daily by the workers of Ibicaba farm. Data for the 1891 harvest season follow the structure of a General journal, while those for 1892-1895 are structured as current accounts, possibly under the name of the household heads. The ledger includes also summarized data on the annual harvests of workers per piece rate or hired per time (“camaradas”).

(1) No typographical seal. (2) The ledger is possibly incomplete: on the back of the cover, it is penciled that the ledger sold had 200 sheets; however, the stored ledger has 356 pages. (3) Corrections and checks ticked/made by the farm’s administration in red and blue pencils.
