Notes
- Description
- ENGLISH: Kenya Weekly News newspaper issue 1329 of July 18, 1952 There is a tendency to assume that civilisation has brought nothing but good to the African people. That it has brought great benefits is not to be denied; but some of the benefits still seem of more value to European than to African minds, It must be admitted that the march of civilisation has destroyed much that was good in the African's way of life and so far, it has not been notably successful in replacing that good with something better.
