SPANISH: El Cuaderno Arnold 3, de los años 1985-1986, consta de notas de trabajo de campo y grabaciones de campo en Qaqachaka. El Cuaderno se abre con Notas sobre varios temas y sobre preguntas planificadas; seguido de 1. Notas, en un continuación del Cuaderno Arnold 2, sobre una entrevista a Emiliana Hilaya Mendoza sobre los animales de la Pachamama; y luego Notas sobre los términos de parentesco y sobre el trabajo de campo sobre los términos de parentesco; 2. Luego hay un 30 min. transcripción de una representación del ritual de marcado de animales, con las familias Choque y Espejo; a esto le siguen más Notas sobre términos de parentesco, en general, y Notas sobre una breve visita a la Isla del Sol. ENGLISH: Field book Arnold 3, from the years 1985-1986, consists of Fieldwork Notes on, and Field Recordings in Qaqachaka. The Field book opens with Notes on various themes and on planned questions; followed by 1. Notes, continued from Field book Arnold 2, on an interview with Emiliana Hilaya Mendoza about the animals of the Pachamama; and then Notes on kinship terms, and on fieldwork on kinship terms; 2. Then there is a 30 min. transcription of a performance of the ritual of marking the animals, with the Choque and Espejo families; this is followed by more Notes on kinship terms, in general, and Notes on a short visit to the Island of the Sun. In the lakeside region there are transcriptions of interviews with 3. Victoria Quispe, on the history of the village Yumana and aspects of lakeside culture; 4. Natividad Mendoza on the village of Chhalla and its culture; and 5. interviews with Juana de Chura on courtship songs. There follow Notes on Aymara lexicon; then more interviews with 6.
