- Bert Ellison poses on the baseball field as if he is about to swing his bat. Ellison's teammates (unidentified) can be seen in the background practicing. An advertisement for Desmond's Department Store in the background identifies the location as Los Angeles, probably at the Washington Park baseball field. Bert Ellison played with the San Francisco Seals of the Pacific Coast League from 1921 to 1927.
