- ENGLISH: Kenya Weekly News newspaper issue 1330 of July 25, 1952 There was a debate in the House of Commons on a token vote of 30 euros for the Colonial Office for services other than Central African Federation. This debate was opened by Mr. James Griffiths on the agrarian problem in Kenya , he said "The increase of population relates to tribal custom, leads to still further fragmentation of the natives' land holdings, and deterioration of the soil. It is causing an important problem of land hunger"
