- ENGLISH: Weekly Comment newspaper issue 300 of June 9, 1955 Mr.Garfield Todd, Prime Minister of Southern Rhodesia, has said in Durban that there was no ready solution for the racial question in Africa. Mr Todd visited Durban in the course of a brief lecture tour.He said the racial question in Africa was a practical issue in which prejudice and emotion should play no part. He considered that the question which hung over Africa was whether there should be partnership of the races or domination by one race over another."We in Central Africa believe that partnership is the best method.irrespective of who is right, the question is still there and must be answered", Mr.Todd declared
