Livro de registro da distribuição dos cafezais da fazenda Ibicaba aos trabalhadores colonos e eventualmente a meeiros e terceiros; rara identificação de outras profissões (diretores, jardineiro e empreiteiros de eucalipto). O livro traz dados nominais dos membros das famílias trabalhadoras, características demográficas (estado civil, sexo, idade, nacionalidade), local de residência na fazenda por colônia ou ponto de referência (Colônia Grande, Grama Larga, Lagem, Morro Alto, Pão de Lot, Pinheiro e Saltinho), número de cafeeiros cultivados, suas localidades, valores, assim como características básicas das residências. Ao fim de cada ano agrícola há um resumo estatístico das residências e das famílias.
Ledger with the distribution of coffee trees to colonist laborers in Ibicaba farm and, occasionally, to sharecroppers by half and by the third part (“meeiros” and “terceiros”); rare identification of other professions (directors, one gardener, and one eucalyptus planter per task/piece rate, i.e. “empreiteiro”). The ledger contains nominal data for each member of the households working in the farm, their demographic characteristics (marital status, sex, age, nationality), place of residence within the farm per colony or reference points (Colônia Grande, Grama Larga, Lagem, Morro Alto, Pão de Lot, Pinheiro, and Saltinho), number of coffee trees cultivated, their location, as well as basic information about the dwellings. At the end of each crop year, there is a statistical summary about the number of dwellings and of households.

(1) Incomplete ledger: pages 42-43 are missing in the original. (2) The alternative title refers to those handwritten on the ledger’s spine and on the opening page of every crop year. (3) The ledger has no typographical seal, but it has its price handwritten on the coversheet (“31$0”). (4) 24 extra pages with statistical summaries have been glued at the end of each crop year; these pages were computed in the total number of pages of this metadata. (5) A scrap of paper was used in the original ledger as bookmark for pages 290-291. (6) A drawn map, most likely from Colônia Grande, was originally put on the back cover; the map includes not only the name of the household heads living in the colony, but also the location of the school, chapel, and the fiscal’s house.
