- Former district attorney, Asa Keyes (center), convicted of accepting a bribe from the Julian Petroleum Corporation, gets ready to leave the jail for prison. He bids farewell to the jailer, Clem Peoples (left) and is about to leave with Sheriff Frank Cochran, who will escort him to San Quentin prison.
