- Description
- ENGLISH: Kenya Weekly News newspaper issue 1326 of June 27, 1952 During the recent election campaign in the European constituencies of Kenya, majority of candidates expressed support of the political objective of an East and Central African Federation. Sir Phillip suggested that a federation of East and Central Africa was about as practicable as "ice hockey at magadi " and was entirely right to impress upon the members of the Young Kenya Association that the acid test of practicability should be applied to all proposals for political and constitutional changes in East and Central Africa.
