Description: Henry B. Du Pont and engineer John W. Beretta change the tire of an airplane at Vail Airport (owned an operated by Western Air Express). They traveled from Detroit to Los Angeles in a Buhl airplane in a little less than a month, experiencing no trouble save for a flat tire and some inclement weather.
