(1) The alternative title refers to inscriptions in the ledger's spine, which are not contemporaneous to each other. (2) Seal on the back of the cover: "To obtain this type of book suffices to cite Number 523 cdn" (free translation from the original in Portuguese). (3) There are manuscript notes in the back of the coversheet. (4) Pages 50-51, 152-153, 282-283, and 312-313 have been indicated with pieces of paper that acted as bookmarks; two of them are blank (50-51 and 282-283); another contains arithmetic operations (152-153); and the other includes the name "Alberto Zanetti" (312-313).
