- Description
- ENGLISH: Weekly Comment newspaper issue 288 of March 17, 1955 Tom Mboya, the Secretary of the Kenya Federation of Registered Trade Unions, is a strong force and if the present insistence upon accelerating the pace towards multiracial government continues, we are likely to hear a lot more of Mboya in the near future and Mr. Humphrey Downes on behalf of the Department of Information told the country of the marvellous work being done in improving conditions in the Kikuyu Reserve, telling all tribes in East Africa that if they adopted a similar state of rebellion as Kikuyus have then they could expect to have similar good things.
