Bus lines to and from Chavez Ravine and the rest of Los Angeles were contested throughout the 1940s and 1950s. A customer purchases goods at a shop located near the Chavez Ravine bus terminal, near present day Elysian Park and Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.
