The theme of the 1934 Rose Parade was: Tales of the Seven Seas. It rained during the parade that year
View of the "Queen of the Seven Seas" float was to carry the Queen of the Rose Parade in a chariot accompanied by 4 sea horses and pulled by 3 or 4 floral goldfish. Five young women in costume, outwalkers or riders, stand next to the float. The photograph was taken on Orange Grove Blvd. before the start of the parade.
