Poster held by Louise M. Darling Biomedical Library. History & Special Collections, Collection no. 306, item FR135.
Poster depicts three sides of a die, with names of men ("LUCAS", "SACHA") on two of the sides, and "SIDA" [AIDS] on the third side. According to the publisher's website, the die is meant to suggest that failure to use protection during sex is to gamble with one's life. The three sides of the die are intended to raise the question "With whom did you spend the night?" And to suggest that one of the answers could be: "AIDS".
Poster formed part of a 2004 campaign (information from publisher's website).
Date on back of poster, 2005, reflects when the vendor received the copy later acquired by the UCLA Library.
Logo of the AIDES organization in lower right corner of poster.
