Three-layer wedding cake float on a gondola-like boat with boy gondolier and girl riding in the boat and topped with boy and girl, Harold Van Horn and Ardath Aline Elsasser, dressed as a bride and groom beneath an archway. Inscribed in flowers on the side of the boat: Davis.... The float was entered by the Davis Perfection Bakery.
1927 was the first year the the Tournament of Roses Parade had a theme, "Songs in Flowers," with each float typifying a song
