Description  : One image covering bottom one-third of folio: Against the backdrop of the village of Bethsaida, Christ, nimbed and wearing robes, is shown leading the blind man of Mark 8:27-34 with his l. hand by holding the man's r. hand and anointing his eyes with spittle on two fingers of this r. hand. The blind man wears a purse on a strap over his l. shoulder. Adjacent text: Gospel of Mark in Armenian, comissioned by abbot Esayi Ncé°ec°i.
